$66.4 MILLION onbn FRIDAY alone from DARK KNIGHT

went to see it today. There were signs everywhere saying 'the dark knight line begins outside'. It was 1:30 and the show started at 2:00 so I asked the guy taking the tickets if they were letting in yet. He said no, 10 minutes and I had to wait outside. Now, mind you it was hot as fuck today. So, I go look outside - see 5 people in line and come back in. He again told me I had to wait outside. I said I'll just wait in the lobby until it's time to let people in. The manager then comes up and explained to me that I will have to wait until all the people outside get in first. I said ok, that's fine - there are 5 people out there. I'll wait. He then continued to explain that it is not fair to the people waiting outside if I try to get in first. I said, that's no problem I can wait for them. He seemed to continue to get upset that I wouldn't wait outside with the other 5 people. Finally, he let them in and I entered as person #6.
As I was leaving, same policy was still in effect - but now a much bigger crowd - almost 10 people waiting outside.
Seemed like a nice lawsuit waiting to happen - someone passes out from waiting outside for no reason whatsoever. because some manager is on a power trip.
