                              What version? Some of the older ones used a ws_ftp.ini file in the program directory.

                              wsftp 7 and 8 store settings here:
                              C:\Documents and Settings\<user account>\Application Data\Ipswitch\WS_FTP

                              I'm not too sure about 9, it sucked so badly I'm switching to WinSCP

                                      if it's the 95/lite version just backup your program files/ws_ftp folder and make a shortcut to the exe, you don't need to install it again. this doesn't work on the pro version.
