                                              its a shame that de la hoya is trying to fight as a middle weight. he should just stick to his own weight. on the other hand, hopkins is a mean mutha and a good boxer in his own right.

                                                  Actually the reason he did not drop right away is that a liver shot takes a second or two for the pain to really set in. At which stage your body basically shuts down and you are in such deabilitating pain that you find it impossible to move.
