It's ok to spam if you are replying - just can't start one
Spams with one word/ useless responses inside threads are much worse IMHO than a thread that says "1 time announcement" in the topic.
Sometimes people start serious topics and get replies with a smiley, "format c", "I fucked her", or some other useless response with their sig. I think that is worse...
But what do I know - it is his board so he gets to make the rules...
