Real or not, if you are going to loot (that is, not just for food/water but to steal material goods) why the F-U-C-K do you pick Walmart????
Jesus H. Christ on a popsicle stick, Macy's and other relatively expensive stores with goods that are actually worth money or even bling - like watches that don't have calculators on them, HDTVs, jewellery that doesn't stain your neck green ... are just a block or two away!
