    This Is Spinal Tap - best rock movie of all time?

    I was watching Bravo yesteryda (ok, flipping through the channels and stopped on Bravo) and watched "This Is Spinal Tap" and despite this move being 20 years old, it's still one of the funniest movies of all time....

    so, is this movie the best rock movie of all time or what?

    I truly love this and remember a couple Spinal Tap moments in my own short rockstar period....

    My favorite part is the riff on Black Sabbath with the stone henge scene....

                          Heavy Metal Parking Lot is a good one too.

                          Gonna be on Bravo October 15.

                          And TRIO will have a new Reality Show based on the same idea.

                              Not sure if by rock movies you mean movies about performers or movies where the music is a prime part of the experience, but

                              My favorite rock movies:

                              Rocky Horror Picture Show
                              Hard Rock Zombies
                              Tommy
                              Quadrophenia
                              The Forbidden Zone
                              The Great Rock 'n Roll Swindle
                              The Rose
                              The Kids are Alright
                              Times Square

                              I'm sure I'll remember a dozen I like better than some of those right after I post this

                                      some I really loved
                                      Get Crazy (Malcom McDowell having a conversation with his penis was a hilarious scene)
                                      School Of Rock (for some reason was just waaaaaaaaay better than the typical "outsider teacher teaches the kids a lesson" type movies)
                                      Rockstar wasn't horrible, but it was hard to get over Marky mark as a metal singer, and it was fun watching Zakk Wilde try to act and of course the tranny 3way with Jennifer Aniston...

                                          I've heard of that movie and want to see it, I'll be sure to catch it on Bravo

                                          I'll have to break down and get digital cable to get TRIO I guess, that sounds like a fun series
