OK,

I've been getting alot of emails from various european people. (And it has been a fair amount.) Everyone wants to know if my family is safe. How we are coping... etc etc etc.

I understand that Europe is not a very big place land-wise.

But North America is a big place. And Canada is a very long distance from New Orleans!

Where I am origionally from it would over 45 hours of non-stop driving to reach New Orleans. And where my husband is from you would have to add a boat ride too.

My hopes and prayers go out to all the victims. And I understand everyone's concern because I share it too.

But nothing has been destroyed in Canada and I speculate that over 90% of the United States is still in one piece. So please give your concern and prayers to those that require it.
