Macaulay Culkin Held On Drugs Charges
Former child star Macaulay Culkin has been arrested on drug charges in the US.The 24-year-old actor, best known for his roles in the Home Alone films, was held after police found marijana in a car he was travelling in.
He was arrested during a roadside check on a highway in Oklahoma City.
The star was found in possession of 17.3 grams of marijuana and other drugs he had apparently obtained without a prescription.
Culkin was released on bail after spending about two hours in jail, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department said.
According to the arrest report, an Oklahoma City police officer pulled over a car speeding along an interstate highway.
Culkin was a passenger in the car driven by a man from New York.
The officer asked Culkin and the driver to step out of the car after the driver had given the officer permission to search the vehicle.
The search revealed the marijuana and controlled substances in plastic bags.
