Fuck bush what do you think ?

He was not seen t he first 4 days at the storm
All his soldiers are at iraq ?
He wants to control the world and cant even control his own country ?
A storm like that every year , and NO descent plan if something like this happens ?
Why did people voted for him anyway , the whole world is mad at him and they ask for help from all over the world .
It's with mixed feelings , but i think the tsunami will had much more collections al over the world then america will ever get .

2. kerry would probably returned his soldiers a long time before this disaster happened cause he was not thinking of making war anymore .......
fights against terrorists ? come on , you will never know who they are and when they will strike , and attacking iraq just makes it worser .

In the worlds biggest nuclear country, I thought there were some kind of plans in case things got serious wrong. Maybe that was just hollywood, but there should be some plans, yes. Especially logistic plans.

Yep, they do have to contain that first and fast! It is called return fire. It's is called having the balls to do what is needed.

Some teenager drives 80 people to Houston, so they put his ass in jail and give the rest breakfast and throw them out at 1st. A average lawyer will get that kid off, he saved 80 lives by doing what was needed.

There are thousands of buses with a few hundred miles of the Super Dome that could have done the same thing. The governor of LA or the president could of picked up the phone and in-less than 30 seconds had a solution on the way within seconds.

That could have been done before disease was a consideration. Gangs and other undesirables? Have to have the balls to take control. Return fire. Even at the risk of others at this point.

Do ya think that maybe, just maybe, if the national guard was moved in right away, that the shooting and looting wouldn't happen.

Shit man, after 9-11 ( I know first hand) the national guard was there the next day. Then again they weren't halfway around the world where they shouldn't be. It is the national guard, they are here for us, not some fucking country that the oil interests want.

No not all of our soldiers are in Iraq.
There is not much plan against a storm. The city was a hundred and some odd feet underground, what can anyone have done. And hurricanes arent things we can control.

And no, a handful of idiots like you dont qualify as "whole world is mad at him"

I agree, America doesnt need pennies from piss poor countries that cant handle thier own shit themselves. We can handle our problems as much as we can and try to help others.

not looking for an argument...but why do euros always think they know all about the US to the point that they seem to know more than we do about the US??? Col in the 82nd Airborne and just returned from his 2nd tour of Iraq and the Vietnam part is based on my daddy's views of having been there in the 60s and 70s...they compared notes upon my brother's return home)
Now the way the troops placement in iraq is playing out in your mind may or may not be correctly placed on the situation in NO and the MS coast correctly...it is not a question of having or not having troops to deploy to the affected areas because they are all in iraq...the number of troops in iraq is but a small percentage of our available troops...we would NEVER leave the US unprotected...Bush and his admin claim they were never asked "properly" by the Gov(s) of LA and MS for deployment...the federal govt here must be granted "permission" to deploy federal troops to a state by that states governor...they claim they were asked...but not given permission...of course that is bush's interpretation of the situation and the "correct" way of deployment...but remember he can't spell "a cat" and get the
"a" part right, let alone c-a-t, w/o help.....soooooooooooooo....what needs to be done is now getting done and they should keep doing it untill all people affected are helped and argue about it later...just get'r done,,,,

Plans should have already been in place.. They pretty well knew where the storm was gonna hit.. They could have had the guard in place to be there in a day, as well as other forms of help..

They can't say they didn't know it would be that bad... they were told on numerous ocassions that if it hit NO it would be very bad...
