Well that seems like smothering my friend. At your age and probably hers, you need to live a little.
My suggestion is to let her go for now. Girls in college are rarely faithful. The second you screw up, someone will be there to take your spot. You will be jealous and suspicious always. It's just not a fun life.
You're 21 though, way too young to be hooked like that. Just go and see what is out there. Maybe in a few months you both decide you can't live without one another.
