read countless documents online.
watch the news at least 3 hours a day.
but only consider myself partially informed.

I dont think politicians themselves are well informed so I dont think it makes a difference if I am well informed on the big parties political views. They all try to get votes and then they do whatever the fuck they want. I know that come election day I will be voting for, what I feel, is the lesser of two evils, Kerry. There is probably a much better candidate out there to represent my views but they would be in a much smaller party and therefor irrelevant in this election. I think that you should look at all the canidates and see which one fits you and vote for them but in this election the stakes are too high.

I think more informed than the 'average' voter - but not nearly to the extent that many people are.
Until the system changes and voters are given real choices through the media instead of just pushing the same 2 tired dopes, it's pointless to look TOO hard.. because regardless of which of the 2 you pick, if you dig deep enough you're not going to want either man for president.
