Over a million people were displaced and stranded because of this hurricane and all you give FEMA credit for is negative of what is happening to the people that are stranded at the convention center and Super Dome. You are as clueless as they come. FEMA DOES NOT STAFF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN TWO DAYS. The question was BULLSHIT because nobody could be satisfied with the truth. Why aren?t you complaining about all the clean-shaven, well fed reporters that have turned this into a reality show? All the reporters seem to have fresh batteries for their cameras and travel freely between cities; if they really cared, they would be bringing in supplies to these people instead of trying to get the dramatic shots.
The head of FEMA warned NO last year that they needed to do something to prepare for a major hurricane. NO knew this could happen yet did nothing to prepare for it. They knew the levees could give way 2 days before the storm, why didn?t they prepare with food and water for the people that would be stranded if the city flooded?
