Just had a conversation some nut job on Yahoo messenger. (I've seen made my online status hidden.)
He speculates that the United States Military detonated some sort of thermal device off the gulf coast. Thus causing the water temperatures to rise in order to make the hurricane or make it worse.
1. His reasoning for it is that this would be a form of racial cleansing.
2. That this would give the United States access to the European fuel reserves.
3. And that it would create world sympathy for a failing U.S. economy.
A little far fetched about the weapon idea. But I can vision George Bush being very opportunistic right now.
