I love it when middle class punks don't have ANY clue what true poverty is. I grew up with it (well, upper lower class... we did have a roof over our heads... although we could see the dirt under the house from the holes in the floor), and let me tell you..... after the 3rd of the month there was NO money left. We eat what we had, and it was a LOT less during the last week and a half of the month. Had something called Friday surprise.... It was whatever was editable that was left from the week. Sometimes it was so awful the dog wouldn't eat it. There were no credit cards. There was no savings. If the car my grandparents bought my mom broke down that was it.
