These idiots act like it is rocket science, please STUPID PEOPLE stay away from the self checkout line!

i avoid them for that reason. its faster to go thru the regular checkout line most of the time

If self checkout is empty I use it. If there is ANYONE in it, I use a regular till. I can't believe how stupid the average human being is these days.

The self checkout always moves 1/2 the speed of any other line.

I used the self checkout once and I noticed a lot of problems with the way they work... I can see how someone that barely knows how to use an Interac machine would have trouble..

Speaking of self checkout, I know EXACTLY how to use the damn things, but the creepy night manager at the nearest grocery store always comes and stands over my shoulder and watches me while I'm scanning stuff in. If look back at him like "what the fuck?" he reaches over me and starts punching buttons like I'm not going fast enough. Next time I go in, I'm going to tell him he has to keep at least 20 feet in between us at all times.

I hate that shit! It's so frustrating when someone that works there comes up and tries to "help" you when you are not the one needing help. Major peeve of mine too.
