Well anybody who has lived in the DC area for a long time would remember the Mt. Pleasant riot. Well, I was in that riot back when I was in college and I was young and stupid and I'll tell you that the mob mentality takes over...We were taking shit that we didn't even want or need. We just took it because we could...I remember yelling to some kids who were about to set a news car on fire to yank the cellphone/radio before they torched it but they wouldn't listen..They were too set on setting the car on fire...So I just reached in the car and yanked the phone...I didn't even need that phone but I just wanted to take something.
So if I was out there in the middle of that looting, I'd go for food, water, jewelry (lightweight, valuable, and tradeable), and guns.....Sitting there trying on new clothes is just stupid and that shows how materialistic they are..
A lot of those people could have afforded to leave if they weren't buying all that designer bullshit with their hard earned money in the first place....All I know is that I'm going down there next month and see it first hand.
Oh and I'd take liquor also...being in a disaster would require something to help me get my mind off of the situation temporarily..Plus it's also tradeable.Comment
