It's an interesting website which posts the actually chats of undercover parents posing as minors to catch pedo's.

As the MasterBlogger I could easily do that.

However, I don't have time.

So I offered them free server space.

Got source from xBiz which had an article about an autistic 14 year old raped and held hostage ...

I think for two weeks until Peverted-Justice.com did forensics on the kids computer and tracked down the IP address of bastard.

It's an interesting site.

And NO I did not post in a NON-ADULT Webmaster place a link to GFY as this community has requested I do not.

Just the fact I had problems in adult communities by posting that statement.

Oh I think they are well aware of who I am and have done their homework with due dilligence.

I think I'm going to check out Jupiter Hosting and provide GFY techs the root linux command.

It solves all 2257 issues as that is where GFY is hosted.
It say's right on the bottom of the page.

I'm and advocate of their proactiveness in a situation that has increased 50% per year - year after year - since internet inception.

Obviously ASACP is not the magic bullet.
More has to be done.

I think if the pedo's know parents are out there doing this ...
they won't be so likely to do it.
ie: meet minors on the net

I have some concerns though about "entrapment" and will be reading their board for awhile before participating on it.

Something I should have done here ....lol

I don't think that's the way they do it.

I think from reading about an hour of their website - they don't pretend anything except for having a handle like "susan14" and do NOT EVEN post - but wait for the private messages which often flood in instantly.

I have more study to do though.

Perhaps you've even chatted with one of them yourself in the past.

Yes I read three of four "logs" ...
And most of their FAQ and TOS and other ...

So far my opinion is ...
as long as they do NOT make first contact then it's not entrapment ???

like I said I have to do more study.

I once went into a teen chat room and introduced my self as [email protected] and that I was writing an essay on teenage chat rooms - of which they allowed me to stay.

As the MasterBlogger interpreting email and it's dialects and chat is something I have done for years. I thought okay lets wait and see how long it takes to see an adult enter the room ...BOOM it was instant my friend - INSTANT.... The moderator was booting adults from the teen chat room at a rate of ...like one a minute.

Parents who do not chat ... do not understand how dangerous it is out there.
