    EZDRM: Criminals you should avoid

Wanted to share my experience with other webmasters. We have been looking for a DRM solution for awhile now, and the first provider we have tried was EZDRM. After signing up for the Professional service, we were unable to get their software to load. They use some Active-X application to load a profile, and it would not load on any of our office computers running with Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

After realizing that their system was not going to work and that their support response was painfully slow we decided to cancel our account.

After requesting a refund, since our account could not even be set up, they are refusing to refund setup fees. Even though our account could not be setup, probably due to their shitty code.

What pisses me off the most about this is their refund policy is not linked from anywhere on their site. Nor is it displayed when you sign up. Now these goddamn criminals are refusing to refund out money based on this policy that they DO NOT SHOW TO ANYONE.

So they basically left us with no choice but to chargeback their transaction. Which is something I personally hate to do, as chargebacks hit us all in the end.

On a brighter not, after getting frustrated by their not wanting to refund our money, we looked around for other DRM solutions. We ended up signing up with PlayaDRM, and even though its more expensive than the EZDRM solution it atleast WORKS and Tucker and Crew have been responsive and very helpful!

    Summary: Avoid EZDRM!
