Sponsors with movie galleries plz read

After spending the day hand cropping thumbs for a crap load of movie galleries I have something to tell you sponsors.

1) Give us some decent screen shots to work with or one or two normal pictures in the galleries so we can make good preview thumbs.

2) don't add a watermark to the preview thumb saying it's a video.. It's already hard enough to make quality thumbs with the screen caps we get. No need to make it imposable.

3) separate your movie galleries from the rest of your picture galleries.. No one has all day to sit and click every one of your links to See what it is.

4) some say size doesn't matter,but I'll beg to differ.. at least it dose with looking at preview thumbs. So again refer to number (1) and give use some screen caps that are big enough to work with and not some little 100x100 screen cap with a 80x80 watermark on it..

5) and for the love of evil, please allow us to spider your gallery list pages with our scripts. This makes importing your galleries into our scripts a breeze..

hey man. will you go into my hosted gallery area and riddle me. we are not gallery people, so we would like someone who is to just go in there and tell us what needs to be fixed to make it easier on folks like yourself. we are not big headed and appreciate this kind of stuff. problem is, lots of others would rather just pass you over than say something. this is very important to know. thanks for speaking up.

i fucking hate when they put the VIDEO watermark on there, i have comus set to lay it's own video watermark over the image and most sponsors make it VERY hard to do this

and the thumbs thing is amazingly annoying, how hard is it to give us good screencaps so that our tgp software can grab a nice thumb from it?

don't get me started on those fuckers that incorporate the video screen cap into the design of their page, and on top of that they make crooked

1.) not a good idea, I give you movies bigger than you need for galleries, 4-5 of them, 1scene per movie, no similar parts. When I would give you screenshots, everybody would use them, nobody would list you. The goal is that every webmaster can cut the parts and lenghts he like and make the screenshots he like. Its a job for few minutes.

2.) I dont and wont do it in the future.

3.) I separate movie and picture content, movies for each girl are zipped and they have a thumb preview, so you know what you are downloading.

4.) see 2.)

5.) I will work on it when I have enough FHGs.

BTW you saw my content area, what do you think about it? I was actually a movie submitter, so I think I know what the people need.

The worst thing is when some sponsors got these small thumbnails.
Its impossible to crop a decent thumb.

I agree, thumb preview MGP's are soon taking over.

I don't use sponsors who don't have good quality thumbs to crop out of. Enough said.

you're totally right crockett. Some sponsors should really work on their movie galleries.

the problem of some sponsors is that they have never submited galleries in life. the other problem is requesting to outside company workers to do a bunch of hosted gals. i know many ppl here would do it with love and make them look great but i just didnt had luck yet so, at amazingpass the next set of gals will be done by me.

400 movie gals for text mgps or thumb mgps that use small thumbs

and the set after will be done with screenshots of original dvds tuned by me on photoshop and a few more proggies. we will be putting efforts on movie gals cause there are still few sponsors with really good movie gals. lets see how it goes ;)

I can't agree enough on these points. I've seen so many pathetic hosted galleries lately it is clear that some program managers know nothing about what their affiliates need.

The biggest issue is providing a clean image of the action that can be thumbed 90x120. Like crockett says any images under 150 or so can't really be thumbed. As well take a minute to find out if your URL's can be spidered by Comus, if they can't it's costing you bigtime.
