I dont see how money is going to help anything at this point..

I'm not trying to be a hater, but what do they need money for.

The government is already giving them our money. The poor people will just take whatever the rich people have left and the rich people will just wait for the insurance.

I guess the good thing is you posted a red cross link , so if they dont need the money i suppose they just save it for when they do need it but still...

If your not from america i dont see why you would help anyways . When canada helped out people from 9/11 , bush didn't even thank us, he trashed us like we were traitors..

( before you slam me as unsympathetic , i have lots of friends and family in biloxi and some of them i have not heard from , infact a couple of them were on the casino boat that got trashed.. )

Its simply the principle of the matter, after the Tsunami the world rallied, we always donate billions of dollars to other countries, this has NOTHING to do with BUSH either. I hope your friend are OK. Maybe your donation will help fuel the helicopter that brings some of those people food or medicine over the next few weeks.

That was kind of my point.. americans helped the tsunami victims , but you didnt hear the victims trashing americans , you heard them thanking them for donations.. when canadians opened their homes to americans stranded during 9/11 with food and clothing and money , canada got shit upon by bush , and no thank you.

1. Yes I would still donate and have regardless of what I think about some countries.
2. Bush never ever called Canada a traitor nation nor did he specifically said you suck ass. As I recall it was officials in YOUR government that called Bush a terrorist AND stepped on dolls representing him. With all due respect this has NOTHING to do with Bush, there is zero political about a natural disaster.
3. The USA may be rich in many things but moral support(in the way of financial donations etc) is terribly needed.
