    eBay Phishing

WTF? How could anyone possibly fall for this obvious phishing attempt. You'd think these idiots would at least spell check their crap and put the $ sign in the right place.

    Dear eBay customer ,

Due to our new services ( spam guard , ssl encrypted connection , paypal upgrade , etc ) you have to pay your eBay fees ( 9 $ ) .You can pay with your credit/debit card .We will charge your account with the ammount of 9 $ . However you will receive a confirmation request in about 24 hours after the credit/debit card is authorized .

You have 24 hours from the time you receive this e-mail to complete this eBay Request. You might experience techincal problems with the SUNTRUST online merchant (our new security partner) , might receive The SG alert as the online merchant is hosted on the SUNTRUST domains for now . We will update the SG webclient shortly to recognize SUNTRUST as a legit eBay subdiary website .

For its 9th birthday , eBay will reward you with a refund of 200$ in the next 3 days and if your credit card is authorized , for being a top 10 eBay customer (seller / buyer) , eBay will enroll you in the 9th WINasmuchasuEBUY contest where u can WIN 10 000 $ or a splendid Dodge sv .

you can tell some russian or european scammer wrote it
because they put the $ in the back of the number instead
    of the front.

that's if you'd overlook the fact that it's poorly written

yeah, and to think that that wouldn't be the end of your CC's journey either.

imagine all the other things they would do with your number and CVV2 once they got it.
