    Do shrinks make things better or just take your money?

    And what makes them better to sit with you and hear you out rather than a friend that would do it for free.

    I have never seen one, but if she is pretty, maybe I will.

      dunno ive gone to a few in the past, i always just stop going because I always feel really weird around them.

      i think that I should just be myself and not just take some pill to cloud whats really going on. i know it can make things better over time though.

      Often times I wonder why

                                      Good ones can help in some cases because they know what questions to ask to help bring things out that you may have forgotten about.. that can be a source of problems..

                                                      A psychiatrist can make more educated suggestions for behavioral change than the "average" person.

                                                      But keep in mind, this is how they make their living (like doctors) so if you don't want to change, they'll see you as long as you're willing to pay and you still won't get "better".
