is there any other MP3 player out there with at least 1Gb of space and cheaper than the Ipod. 10Gb is way too much for $350

Sure, there are always alternative, but why bother with them? Just get the best, its money well spent. Would you rather spend 200 on a cheap imitation, or 300 on the best that there is? *shrug*Comment

I dont want an MP3 cd player because they are big. I dont want a regular MP3 player but there isnt enough memory. Something in between would be nice.

after about 5 months, my friends 20gb Ipod(2) has a battery life of 2-3 hours...
don't get the Ipod
