ya he isnt American but the truth is that the majority of Americans cant spell the word weird. I estimate about 80% write it was wierd.

You deal with a very small portion of the internet. If you notice above you couldn't spell a simple word like "as".

This is a forum where spelling and linguistics are not a prerequisite for posting.If the majority of people you speak with misspell a word , its more likely a reflection upon you and the people you are associated with.

Stop acting like eurotrash and i wont ever bring it up.

I started on computers before the internet began (bbs). I know all about forums and chatting, and linguistically i would say americans have a pretty good grasp on the english language when it is needed. Europeans on the other hand tend to spell rather well yet not understand how to put together a phrase.

Point being, if your going to generalize , at least get your facts correct, or be specific.
