Even though it's middle of the night here, I just topped of my car's tank a little while ago at $2.519/gallon ... if the hurricane takes out some refineries and/or there's a panic, price may be the least of problems - ie. gas station lines like back in the '70s ... many say it can't happen, but then again, many were saying not that long ago that a barrel of oil wouldn't go much over $50 and yet in the span of weeks it has rocketed to $70 with no end in sight...

Price alone is no biggie for many Americans, but if there's an interruption of supply due to refining problems, etc (or the perception of problems by public) there will be panic with a flashback to the 1970s gas station lines; an advantage of working from home, like many folks here on GFY, is I don't have to drive everyday - only have about a 10 foot commute to my office.
