By now everyone has googled for French Military Victories and laughed, coincidently the American Rev is not there. It defines our country and is a major story of our history and our "do anything and defeat anyone" mentality, really simular to our moon landing.

In manufacturing anything you have production cost. How much more does it cost to send a ship across the ocean for 3 months to pick up lumber and then send it back taking another 3 months than to chop down trees in your own backyard? Was it worth paying sailors and ship builders? Was the wood worth taking your troops and sending them across the oceans to fight for it which would allow the French and the Spanish to start taking over land?
India and its road to asia was of far more importance than a land that had not shown any promise as of yet. Western expansion had not happened yet so gold and silver had not yet been brought to the attention of the British.even ADULTS need TOYS
