This took days and days of work with an industrial floor scrubber, scrapers, etc. Once all the curing sealer and other dirt / contaminents were removed, we lightly etched the concrete with a 6:1 ratio of water and muratic acid. We then sprayed 3 coats of PPG Aquapon 60% solids clear epoxy, 60 gallons total. Total cost, including equipment, about $1.35 per square foot for 5200 sq. ft. We received bids from contractors in the $30,000 range.
The whole process was a royal pain, but we are very pleased with the results.
