If he doesn't materialize, then it's because the Bush administration won't have anything/anyone to use as an excuse for war.

Either way, the Bush administration looks like a bunch of chumps.

They will find him dead after a firefight very soon. There would be too many problems catching him alive. I don't think the U.S. has enough real evidence to convict him as is the case with most terror trials so far. The recent Detroit Terror Trial was a scandal since the U.S. Attorney's office violated several laws and the judge threw out most of the case.

They couldn't have him already because of the risk of someone talking, especially him. At most they have good surveilance on him. As far as conspiracy theory time-frame they need something to counter the Oct. 5 release of Farenheit 911 on video, so I'd say right after the buzz about that film starts up again

If UBL is already captured, people were involved. We all know how well people keep secrets. Nixon couldn't keep Watergate quiet. Clinton couldn't keep a BJ (That only involved two people right?) a secret. Pictures from Abu Graive (sp?) made their way to the public.

Let's face it. People don't keep secrets well at all. It's fair for people to question Bush's positions, his record and his future plans. Strong disageement on these points in understandable. When conspiracy theories take the spotlight the reasonable, thought provoking arguments are left in the shadows.

Conspiracy theories used to support a particular political view point do everybody a disservice.

The plan right now is, Usama Bin Laden is currently sitting in the medical brig of the USS Mount Whitney until October 10th 2004 and this news will leak from an anonymous administration source to the Washington Post, where it will sit for the weekend while they decide if they should run with this on Sunday's front page (at least until its then leaked to Matt Drudge) Drudge will blast this from his website that Bin Laden has been captured, Rumsfield will deny everything on the Sunday talk show circuit, but won't comment without a shit-eating grin on his face.

Monday October 11th at 11:00am CST, the White House will call a press conference with Cheney, Rumsfield, Ridge, Goss, and the rest of the Joint Chiefs annoucing the recent capture of UBL by members of Grey Fox, TF 121, and local militia in the Northeast region of Pakistan.

I think he has been locked up here in the US for a long while now. However they will announce to the world and bush supporters, that they just caught him and by doing so also ended terrorism. I think they will announce this on Oct 20th... 2 weeks before the election.
