It's very easy to get 50 people posting and recommending your company. All someone would need to do is contact all their clients, friends, etc.
One thing you need to remember is not everyone posts at GFY. And of the people who do post here, many don't participate in recommendation threads.
No matter who you decide on, you really do need to do your research. Get to know the people a little bit, test out their tech support, talk to other existing clients.
