I keep the desktop plain and simple with no frills, but plenty of room to rough draft things on a sketch pad.
Primary computer stuck under the desk. Dual PIII-933MHz, 1GB RAM, 256MB Video RAM, Samsung 175V LCD, Win2K Pro, CD, DVD, SCSI burner (external) 3 - 80GB HDs, and a Zip-250.
Hooked to a file server (THOR!) for more storage.
THOR! is a Compaq Proliant 5500, Quad Xeon, 2GB RAM, Viewsonic 17" monitor, 9 - 18GB SCSI drives on a Compaq 3200 Smart-Array controller, running on FreeBSD.
Also have a Sony Vaio laptop, P4 2GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB HD, 15-inch display at 1280x1024, running WinXP Pro.
