So true. And reliability is an issue with HK's. Here, we have a club for the full auto people, and the gun club here built a SMG range for us. When everyone gets together on a Sunday and the shooting starts, it's rare to see the HK's go all day without a malfunction.
The most reliable things there are the AK's without question, along with the "Takes a lickin' and Keeps on tickin" M60. There are a couple of guys there with Macs (10 and 11s) that feed pretty reliably, but some others don't. Guess it depends on how you ramp them. The MOST reliable weapon I've ever seen is a worn out looking Mac that's been crudely converted to use Sten magazines. Never seen it fail.
