    why do you obey traffic laws?

    is it because you're afraid of death? afraid of experiencing pain?

    afraid of the fines associated with breaking traffic laws? (hefty fines)

    because you were conditioned to act that way since a child ?

    certainly the only thing that keeps you from running that stop sign or traffic light isnt because you could get a ticket but because if you ran that light or sign you could die...fear of death and pain

                                                                          Well, having had the experience of 3 serious accidents, none of which were my fault, 2 of which were head on collisions where I walked away, I:

                                                                          a) always wear my seat belt
                                                                          b) always stop at stop signs and red lights
                                                                          c) always look both ways twice (because you can never tell when some asshole is going to appear from nowhere)
                                                                          d) don't appreciate having to hire lawyers to fight with chiseling insurance companies who do everything they can to cheat you out of money that you rightfully deserve due to some other asshole's negligence.
