Obesity is just a sign of how healthy a society is overall.

The US is the most wasteful country, as far as I know, which is one main reason 2nd and 3rd world countries dislike the US.

People don't need billion or even multi-multi-million dollar homes. "The American Dream" creates the mentallity to "be better than your neighbour" which creates waste, hate, and egos.

And to be fair bdjuf, the average IQ is probably relatively normal, it's just there are Americans, like AlienQ, who are loud, obnoxious, and it's seen as a good thing as opposed to people in Canada who always try to be polite, giving, and don't like to bother people too much.

And no, I'm not US-bashing or hating, there's a lot of good there too, it's just people like AlienQ choose to ignore the fact that the bad exist and portray themselves accordingly.

as for your comment about the IQ, that's the thing, it's relatively low, especially when compared to most european countries, as well as other developped countries such as Canada and Australia

the majority of the population living in the USA is, in average, stupid than the average human beeing living in similar conditions in different countries

America is like every other place in the world, in that there is good and bad. Unfortunateley it seems the bad gets a lot more publicity than the good. As far as fat people go, who cares, that doesnt mean that all of them are lazy, look at a lot of the people on gfy, including myself, there are some large people but thats because they do computer work and not working at ups or something.

Your expenditures each year are nearly $2 Trillion, yet you don't have health care for everyone, you have second highest child poverty rate (along with child poverty are a lot of other implications) compared to other countries who spend less than half, with health care for everyone and low child poverty rate.

It's called quality of living / life, and not only "American Dream" quality of living "I can live extremely well here", but for the average citizen. It's out of whack.. it's slowly changing though, and catching up with healthier societies.
