Guess who's back :-)

Heya all,

after a 4 year adventure in Spain I moved back to Holland 2 weeks ago.
For those who know I bought a bar which turned out that saved my life.
I lost my internet connection....and with it all my online activities...

for well over 2 years I haven't touched a computer.....after being behinds
computers I could use a sabbatical year (eh....2) to free my mind and
recharge the battery.

I will decide within the few weeks what I'm going to do......as for the
moment I looking through my options and investigating the market for
possible options so feel free to contact me with business proposals or
job offers

It's nice to be back and I'm looking forward to laugh, weep and battle
with all of you again......after I first figure out again how this internet
thing works......it's been a while

Guardamar is a lovely place....well it didn't literaly saved my life....when I lost
internet/telephone which destroyed my business the bar was an excellent
backup.

I just wanted to get away from computers for a while but always knew that
would be temporary. I had great fun, learned a hell of a lot but it was time
again to move on. We had a son in Spain and now the second one is on the
way. My wife preferred to be closer to her family again.....which is also nice
for the kids to be able to visit their grandparents and since I wanted to get
back online......it was a smart move to go back to Holland. It's more central
better telco infrastructure, etc, etc.....So here I am back in Holland with the
family.

I will still quite regularly visit though, I still have a house over there and lots
of friends who will come and kill me if I don't visit them regularly. The bar
is still open.....it just changed owner....everything is still pretty much the
same since I sold it.....so if you're in the hood.....drop by!

Hey man,

We can shake hands on the red figures.....I lost my connection not by choice
but due to Telefonica the national telecom provider. By the time this could be
solved my business already went down the shithole.

I decided to take a sabbatical 2 years when I was at the point to leave it
or start all over from scratch with a big change that I could lose my
connection at any given time again.

Some people got dragged with me because of this and I'm really sorry
about that though it was far beyond my control. I walked away after the
damage was done but not before I tried to save it......which unfortenately
turned out not to be possible.

Anyway I'm back now and I have and will not forget people that have been
good to me......so who knows I might be able to turn the red figures to green
again in some time.

Thanks for your reaction....I appreciate it very much and you have not been
forgotten.

I just watched them today...while I was restoring all my backups....that
was great fun....the years I missed I always thought about it in january
and august.....! Apart from the work and the bizz I liked them always the
most coz you can hang out with all the idiots you usually only speak to

You always think what the person will look like and you'll draw up this image
based on the conversations you have......then you'll meet them and their
most of time pretty much like when you chat.....but for some reason the

knowing it....then when you meet them it's almost like you know them
already for quite some time....
