    Robbing Banks is .....

    Robbing Banks is Fucking Crazy but I have to say I am a totally facinated by people who think they will get away with it and I'm even more intrigued by folks who actually do. How about motherfuckers that hit the same bank twice or multiple banks in the same area ? Over 50% of Bank Robberies are solved according to some dip shit cop i met in a bar once. Do you know of any Good Bank Robbery movies other then "Heat" and "set it off" Just for the record "NO" I'm not planning on robbing a bank:

                  a kid at my old high school worked at a bank and on his first da on the job a dude came in pointed a gun at his face and had him fork over the cash. he got away pretty easily.

                                      there's an old Bill Murray movie called Quick Change that was pretty cool. they got away with it, mostly due to a good plan (even tho it got fucked up) and of course the hollywood style bumbling cops. lol

                                              A couple years ago a friend of mine got busted after robbing a bunch of banks, when he got out on bail he fled the country and havent heard from him since.
                                              I think he watched the movie Heat one too many times.

                                                                      First off unless you can get into the vault robbing a bank is way too much risk for the profit. You would be better off robbing a busy WalMart or Target store. You would probably get more cash from one of those stores than from a bank.. Plus the added bonus is it's not a federal institution so you wouldn't do as much time if you got caught.

                                                                          Too difficult to do most of the time these days. I like the classic French robber (I think it was in the 50's) who dug a tunnel beneath the city and under the bank vault to get inside without anybody knowing. Took him and his buddies about a year but they escaped. Well they got caught, he escaped on his way to the court house. He came out of hiding recently as an old man and died.

                                                                                                  I think the best movie for a robbery, although not a bank was the original Oceans 11. Robbing casinos the way they did was pretty slick.
