Well actually they did not exactly say no problem. They chose not to persue it and left it hanging. That is why there is a demand for the SEC to make available all of the records as well as Bush.
Even some Republicans have called for all records to be released, but the administration is opposed to this. They keep repeating basically what you have said, this is not new.
