There is no person more ignorant than someone who is anti-legal gun ownership. Guns in the hands of law-abiiding people actually makes society safer. This fact has been demonstrated over and over throughout history. Make guns illegal and the crime rate goes up. Just ask the Australians about the climb in violent crimes since gun laws became strick a few years ago.

Why does anyone own a gun? Unless you live in the countryside and need to shot of coyotes stealing your livelyhood I don't see the point. I've never had a need for a gun, and I don't know anyone who needs a gun. I actually know one person who has a gun, and he's a fucking criminal. (and he has never used, or needed it either)
