In the Nikon capture program I drop the temp down to 2650° on the raw files before pulling them up in photoshop. That seems to keep a real nice warmth, but white looks white. For solo stuff the heat was never a problem, but now I'm in the desert, and the air conditioner can't fight off those lights too.

i know it is easier to shoot stills with hotlights, and many pros do it because of consistant exposure, and you must use hotlights with video so this is the quick solution when you try to knock out stills and vid in one shoot.
but if you photograph a girl's eyes with hotlights you lose the sexy look because the pupils close down.
it is MUCH better to shoot porn in a dimly lit set with strobes if you are showing a girl's eyes.
much sexier look because the pupils are wide open.
