    Is Target comparable to Walmart?

Rumours as it that Target wants to buy one of our Canadian Retail store. Will they be able to compete with Walmart?

Target is much better with alot of things. Walmart is better for some things. Overall, Target has higher quality items.

Walmart would have to stand still for 10 yrs before any other store could compete with them.

Target tends to aim for a more urban and upscale shoppers.

Walmart goes after the farmers and the more rural shoppers.

Agree 100% Target has a better variety of high0end stuff - Walmart has lower prices on groceries and diapers

I love target... Target has better quality shoes and clothing, home decor, and just stuff in general. They are pricier than Walmart, but it's for a reason.

I go to Walmart to grocery shop and to get medicines, cleaning supplies, and everyday stuff.

I actually shop at Walmart more, but Target is for school shopping and if I need a quick cute clubbing outfit.

Target has less selections, and some are higher quality. Wal-Mart is like King Kong and Target is like a chimp in comparison.
