hahaha.. I was trying .... but man ... I had to pull over like 6 times before I even got to the border .. then we had to sit at the border for about an hour and a half in completely stopped fucking traffic... In the meantime, the marine air burnt off, and I found myself getting buzzed again from the hot sun ... not a good situation when trying to answer questions from the border guy.

Do they have any new questions they are grilling you on since 9/11? Do they inspect the inside of the cars...? Just curious what its like crossing the border these days by car.

Usually they grill ya a bit harder .... this guy must have seen that I was having a bad day, cuz he just asked for my id (which, these days, doesn't count if you have a driver's license ... you actually need a birth certificate, voter's registration card, or a passport.) So I handed him my license and voter's registration, and brett handed over his passport. then the guy only asked me where I was born. I am not really sure what I said, but he must have liked it .. cuz he let me go after that.
