See what I did this weekend? (Pics)

Redid nearly all of my backyards landscaping. Built a third stone wall, added 6 trees, 5 yards of cedar mulch, 5 yards of new topsoil and hours of moving it all around to make it pretty. Still have some stuff to do, but its looking much better I think. It was nice doing something else besides shooting all weekend.

Well, so much for my productive weekend. Models show back up at 4pm today.

And I even got 10 sets and an hour of video shot on Friday afternoon, with another model showing up today at 4:00. I'm not one to sit around and wait for things to happen. Come out whenever. I have a new model, and her mother (yeah, her mom and no they are not shooting together) here most all of next week on a new site production shot, but I am taklng next Sunday off.

how does that neighbor feel about you shooting there .....seems like they would get a good view ... i won't shoot anything at my home because the neighbor is a Jesus freak .. they can't see much of my yard ..it's pretty big and private but i would love to shoot by the pool and they have a good view from there upstairs ..

we're planning on doing our backyard in the fall. we're also planning on painting our living room and painting out kitchen along with replacing the countertops. i can't wait!

He has been great actually. Nice guy and actually helped my with my landscaping a ton yesterday. His wife made me a cherry pie the other day for picking up their mail while they were out of twon. We really dont get to crazy outside shooting anyways and we do go out of our way to be discreet. However, he knows and does not have an issue.

10 sets and an hours video in an afternoon. That has to be pretty crap stuff.

10 sets, each one takes 20 minutes fastest. Then moving the lights, model and yourself to a new location in a house, 20 minutes with a change of clothing and a drink for the model.

I've a fully equipped studio, 3500 sq ft, 20 settings, 15 studio flash heads, 4 studio staff two of whom can shoot sets to the value of $10,000 with no problems.

We don't produce porn at this speed and don't think anyone can. You might be able to achieve it with three shooters and three models. But one model will soon tire and start to go through the motions.

But then WTF do I know I've only been doing this 28 years.

I've said you produce good singe shots, different to producing 10 sets and an hours video.
