I saw it today and liked it... as everyone has said it did kinda run long, especially 3/4 in but it was a funny movie and I liked it a lot. Can't wait to see Duece Bigalow soon.

Uhhhh...the "tripe" and "uninspired" comments were about the quality of the comedy, guy...Dumb and Dumber this ain't. Sorry to burst your bubble.
And as I noted, Wedding Crashers/Anchorman are good examples of low-brow humor that get it right. Both Douche Bigalow and this 40-Year Old Virgin movie missed.
