Not to knock the rave, but I have a feeling the story lies somewhere in the middle of what the ravers say and what the cops say.
It does seem pretty lame to bring in dogs and helicopters and all that other stuff. If they didn't have the proper permits, just get on the mic and tell everyone to go home. No need to bust anyones balls or arrest anyone. I also think the confiscation of video tapes is bullshit and what you'd see happen in a country like China.
On the other end, they are just doing their jobs. If a guy has drugs on him, he's going to get arrested.
My opinion, it seems like the cops just went way overboard.
