I can usually stick a hand down my pants and masturbate myself. Why would I need an assistant?

You get what you pay for. The good news is that XBiz is going to sponsor a laugh track.

Sounds like you have read "The Four Hour Work Week." Great book!

I don't have one yet, but I think I would have them pay my bills, buy tickets, set up meetings, research for new projects. I think once I get one, I will find new things for him/her to do that I can't even think of now.

Absolutely a great book. I actually bought the Ipod audio book first, then the book itself.

How often do you check email? If it is more than once a month, and you don't live in a new country for a month or two learning a new skill or language, then you probably aren't living like him. Since you are probably not bound by location I am sure you could live like him, but most likely you don't. Read the book and it will definitely give you some new ideas on lifestyle and work methods.

I read my email several times a day, live in one location, and work lots of hours. Gotta stop that though.

well yes i do travel alot, and i do like to learn new skills and languages.. the difference is he doesnt want to be a multimillionaire, i do.

so my first priority is making sure my income comes stays number one and the "lifestyle" is second.

Yeah, income first is what he says is the problem with our culture. I am not sure he doesn't want to be a multimillionaire. What he found in his experience was that working like a slave was actually keeping his income from growing. Elimination and Automation allowed him to grow.

He calculates time value in the wealth equation. If you are a multimillionaire and can't live 6 months in Paris learning french without being tied to your income source for hours on end, then he is actually wealthier than you in his mind since time is really the most valuable commodity. Believe me Rob, I am not a complete convert yet, and I think closer to the way you do. But I see his point and don't mind finding a happy medium.

do you know if he has a family?

thats the only thing.. its cool to be a nomad roaming the earth with no attachments, but eventually u want a family. and if you spent all of your time living the lifestyle.. when its time to settle wont it be hard to adjust and settle not to mention financially it will be different as well?

does he talk about this in the book?
