i must say i agree with lukapensa, in my oppinion the designer who wanted to enter this contest allready did - so basically this 25 approved entries rule, means that this logo contest could be at a standstill for ages, until maybe some designer decides to give it a go.Originally posted by lukapensa

Good composition nice balance on his colors working with contrasts and the image rythm is good

I don't get it, Dave's work... or should I say his designer's work... there are just a few pictures pasted over with a standard font which does not blend good with the background, is it just me or does this work isn't that special?

But, you guys need to understand something about designers...and I am sure all designers will know what I am talking about.
They are the Creative ones here, it's not just doing the work, its coming up with the Creativity.
That's what they get paid for most, the creativity. Yes, everyone here does great work and I wish he can pay everyone the 500 bucks, but my designer just came up with the idea for fun that's all.

i know it sounds stupid, but creativity is the first thing that makes a designer a good designer... but with that you must add some skills... a good idea looks good when you design it properly, when you are able to show it off in the most eye-catching way.
i just said what i think about that work regarding the eye-catching issue.
and to marty... that O star is a helpful tip i'll try to do some more stuff.
