Hey samsam, if you like being as close to the city as possible, $500k will get you a small "workers cottage" in Richmond (10mins east of city center), youd be able to get one thats been renovated nicely.... 2bed, 2bath, study, small deck... if your lucky you might find one with parking.

of course if you like being a little further out youl find alot more for you money... but I like richmond.
