    Dang, I just realized Jact closed down. I bought most of my content from them.

    Before you start flaming me or putting up the timeline picture, I don't live on this board so I just noticed when I went to the site to get some more content.

                              jact as well as LadyM have been very busy with other business... way to much to efficiently run the content business as well.

                              Also, with the new 2257 regs being proposed, they didn't feel right in giving over a woman's life story when someone buys a $5 set of her photos.

                              It's business... like anything else, bigger and better things present themselves and things change.... such is the case with jact content.

                              Had nothing to do with competition, particularly since jact blew away most of it

                                                      Several factors contributed to our decision to close the site. The new 2257 regulations were a concern, the new Canadian privacy laws were a major concern and finally, the straw that broke the camel's back was getting hit with thousands of dollars in fraud. LadyMischief and myself are still very much in the industry and very much still involved in content production, we just didn't feel we needed to continue our regular content sales.

                                                      As for me not telling people (ie baddog); Sorry, we've been going full steam with our new projects and really haven't invested the time in wrapping that up.

                                                      Thanks for everyone's spam, may I highly recommend Joe from AMAContent, Mutt from Wanton, Aaron from AMP and last but certainly not least, the folks over at Focus Adult.

                                                                                                                                                  As of January 1, 2004, new privacy laws went into effect that essentially make it illegal to ask for any identification from anyone unless they have privacy releases etc... If you are in Canada, it's time to check into it, there are already many people being prosecuted under this new regulation.
