    How many vids/pics for a new site??

    Hey,

    I am getting ready to launch a solo site hopefully by Jan 09. I was wondering in the meantime how much content do I need to start a new solo site??

              try to always stay around 3 months in front, thats the figure we use for mainstream, although adult paysites might work on a different buffer length.

                                  I'd say 200 photosets and 200 videoclips (at least 5 minutes each, so 1000 minutes) is a good level to aim for.

                                  As long as the content niche is the shizzle.

                                      that really depends on what it is. The more specific it is, and the more exclusive, the less that's required. An 100% exclusive niche fetish site will require less content than to launch and to keep members, than say, a solo girl site.
                                      The advice given about having content in advance is absolutely correct. Don't put yourself in a position where you have to worry about having enough content for updates, particularly if you are relying on others for those updates.
