One of the things thats wrong with this country is people misrepresenting news. These people are hardly saying "hey let's go to war and kill everyone". They are responding to the anti-war sentiment by offering support.

Harsh maybe, but where do they think these kids getting killed are coming from. If someone is gonna get killed it might well as be a relative of someone who supports this shit.

what's funny is that people VOLUNTEER for the military. They know that they COULD get blown to peices. If anyone is at fault for people getting killed over there it's the dumbshits that signed up.

I doubt that ANYOE the signed up for the national guard was expecting to get snet to a war zone. You sing up for the ectra $175 a month for 1 week-end a month and 2 weeks a year to do duty LOCALLY. Like 11 years ago we had a really bad ice storm trees and powerlines down every where. People stuck in their house. They sent in the local guard units to help out. THAT is what they are supposed to be for.

IF you sign you for the regualr military and IF you specifically sign up to do something involving combat THEN you can say "Well what did you expect". And 18 year old signing up because the army promises to pay for his college education so he signs up for kitchen duty does NOT expect to be in war zone.

The all vounteer Army is a joke. It a method to seduce young people who have no other options into thinking they will have a job for four years and then get a college education. The carrot is tasty if you have no other way up the social ladder.

Not everyone who enlists expect to ever go to war for unclear or untrue reasons. Defending your country is one thing, fighting for control of another country is another.
