Going to mexico for dental work??

I need to operate on my wisdom teeth, ive been quoted like $3k here in NJ. im Thinking of going to Mexico and doing it for 1/3 the price plus i get to have a good vacation in a foreign country too!!

anyone in usa ever went to mexico for dental work? what part/dentist did you go and how was your experience.

With the drugs they have there...... A pretty damn good one I'd say.

Make sure they give you Veldrol. I had a toothache during YP one year, bought this stuff, didn't feel any pain for the rest of the trip. Come to think of it, I don't remember much about that trip really.

My wife is from Mexico City, I love it there.. But honestly dental work is something I think I'd rather have done here by a jew.

If your looking to go to the south west. There is a dentist in Sonoita Mexico that claims to be trained in the U.S. military, if I recall correctly. Its on the border of AZ so you wouldn't be far from the States. Or you could go into Rocky Point if you want to hang by the beach. Its more Americanized.. I could find out a good dentist down there.

http://www.riodental.com/ well known, top quality, everyone speaks english, they provide the transpo from your US hotel in El Paso to the clinic and back at no extra charge.

Also check out Washington Dental Clinic, Juarez Mx ..couldnt find a site for em but they are equally as well known and provide the same services.

Don't have any doubts about the quality of hygiene, care or work you will receive at either place and they will save you hundreds of dollars..even with the trip expense.

My Parents think Mexico has awesome dentists and doctors.. They preffered having work done there instead of here in Toronto and they can afford the best...

They both have had a lot of work done there..

BUT!

Mexico is a big country just like anything it depends where you go.

for the note, i got all the 4 lil wisdom fuckers pulled and the QUICKER they get out, the better it is, so i would say, for this surgery, go to a good place and pay the price. for all other kind of dental work maybe ok, save some $$$ but not for wisdoms... you'll end up with a face like a balloon if they dont do it quick. the quicker the work get done, the less pain you'll have, and THERE you see a good surgeon.
